Parking Information

Parking on the University of Virginia grounds is restricted to permit holders. Those wishing to park on grounds have several options.

1. Pay parking is available in the Newcomb Hall Parking garage. This will be the most convenient short term option for those wishing to drive their cars to registration or a poster session. However, daily parking rates are expensive, ~ $25/day.

2. We have arranged for FREE parking for DAMOP participants in the Culbreth Road Parking garage which is approximately 0.5 miles from the primary conference session locations (see Google Map below on DAMOP home page).

3. Parking passes in the Hereford Dormitory parking lot will be available for purchase ($20 for the entire conference) at the Conference Registration desk. Only 100 passes are available and these will be distributed on a first come, first served basis to participants staying in the dorms.

4. FREE short-term parking is available in the lot adjacent to the Housing Office (see Google Map below or on DAMOP home page) off of McCormick Road for dorm check-in on Tuesday afternoon and evening.
