A Graduate Student Symposium will be held on May 19th in Clark Hall featuring tutorial talks by Robin Cote, Lene Hau, Margaret Murnane and Thad Walker.  Students and others interested are urged to sign up on the conference registration form or by contacting the conference organizer, Karen Bloomfield, ksb2w@virginia.edu. The cost is $50.00 which includes lunch.

DAMOP 2009 Graduate Student Symposium

To introduce students to modern topics in Atomic, Molecular, and Optical Physics there will be a graduate student symposium composed of tutorial lectures. The symposium will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2009, in Room 108 of Clark Hall. Box lunches will be provided for all participants.

Important note: dormitories are not available for the night before the graduate symposium, so graduate students attending that symposium will have to find alternative accommodations for one night.
